Visio 2007 Comprehensive Skills
March 1 and 2, $445
Beaumont Classroom

This is a 2-day comprehensive course that covers introductory through advanced skills.

Visio is a business tool that can be used to create images that are used to grab attention and to convey information. It is designed to help the user communicate ideas visually without requiring them to know how to draw. It is used to communicate concepts, procedures, product information, specifications, and more.
Among other things, Visio can be used to create charts, tables, process flows, floor plans, directional maps, Venn charts, computer network diagrams, and organizational charts. It consists of palettes of shapes that represent all kinds of items from computer network components to office furniture. In Visio, shapes are drug from a stencil and dropped on a drawing page. They can then be arranged and connected while text and other graphical elements can be added.

Visio makes different versions of their product that address slightly different audiences. However, the core concepts are the same and the concepts taught in our Visio classes can be used with any of the versions.
